  • 1970 Ford f100
  • The 1970 Ford pickup was part of the 5th generation of trucks, which was from the years of 1967 to 1972. There were not many changes from the 4th generation except for being larger, having more engine options, and more comfortable interiors. Three models were offered – the F100, F250, and F350 along with new trim options. The new Ranger XLT trim was the high end followed by Ranger, Sport Custom, and Custom. These trucks had the best equipment offered at the time. The base engine was a 3.9L V6 and engine options were a 300CID inline 6 and 2 different V-8s. For the 1970 model there were several exterior style updates made, the Sport Custom replacing the Custom Cab, and the Ranger XLT added as the top trim level.
