The Plymouth Savoy nameplate has been used for a variety of Plymouth automobile offerings stretching from 1951 to 1964. Did you know that the Savoy model was named after an upscale hotel in London, England? This model was introduced to the public in 1954 and was Plymouth’s entry in between a base model (Plaza) and a high-end model (Belvedere). The Savoy came as a two-door coupe, four-door sedan, and a two-door club sedan. Fun fact: a 1954 appeared in the Back to the Future movie and was used in a fire scene for the TV show Emergency!.
