The prewar Dodge trucks were replaced in 1948 by the new B-series line. This line was considered very advanced for their day. These trucks were offered in several different styles: the B1-B as a 1/2 ton with a flathead straight-six engine, the B1-C as a 3/4 ton with a flathead straight-six engine with higher horsepower, a B1-T and B1-V as a semi-truck cab and a van style. The line was replaced by the new C-series line in 1954. The B-series featured a cab called the “pilot house” which offered a high amount of visibility with optional rear quarter windows. This series also featured many enhancements and upgrades to increase capacity and usability. Did you know a 1951 Dodge was used in The Twilight Zone episode 21 of season 2?
