Today’s Classic Car Finds 02/09/2023

The Edsel was an auto that was developed by the Ford Motor Company that ran from 1958 to 1960. The Ranger was the base model trim level compact car offered. It came as a two-door coupe, four-door sedan, two- and four-door hardtops. The engine offering was a 361 cu.in. FE V8 four-barrel and three-speed manual transmission as standard. There was a total of 21,701 Rangers produced for 1958. The Edsel name was chosen by the Special Products Division General Manager Richard Krafve after reviewing a list of almost 8,000 suggestions sent into Ford. Do you remember the tag line? “Once you’ve seen it, you’ll never forget it. Once you’ve owned it, you’ll never want to change.”
