Today’s Classic Truck Finds 02/13/2023

The 1966 Ford pickup was part of the fourth generation of seven (1948 to 1983), which was from the years of 1961 to 1966. The F100 was the smallest of the F-series as a 1/2-ton. This generation of trucks were lower and wider than previous ones with the bed sides in line with the hood and windowsill. The bed styles offered were the Flareside and the Styleside. The Twin-I-Beam suspension was introduced for the 1965 model year. There were just minor updates for the 1966. The engines were a 3.9L and 4.9L straight-six and a 5.8L FE V8.
