Classic Car finds 01/26/2023

The 300 was a full-size automobile produced by Chrysler from 1962 to 1971 as a more luxurious high-performance car. It was given the 300 name due to the initial 300 horsepower of the engine. The 1966 was part of the second generation and was the first year to have only the 300 model without the letter of the previous 300 letter-series had. It was also the most popular model year. The 300 had a redesign in 1963 and updated styling in 1965. In 1966, the three body styles offered were a two-door hardtop, four-door hardtop, and a convertible. These cars were known for their powerful engines with the 383 cu.in. V8 being the standard engine. For 1966, the 440 cu.in. V8 four-barrel was introduced.
