Today’s Classic Truck Finds 02/24/2023

The 1969 Ford F-series pickup was part of the 5th generation of trucks, also known as the “Bumpside”, which was from the years of 1967 to 1972. There were not many changes from the 4th generation except for being larger, having more engine options, and more comfortable interiors. This year didn’t have many changes from the previous year except for an updated grille and a new 302 V8 engine offering. Three models were offered – the F100, F250, and F350 along with new trim options. The new Ranger XLT trim was the high end followed by Ranger, Sport Custom, and Custom. These trucks had the best equipment offered at the time. The F100 was considered a 1/2 ton. It also came in 6.5′ and 8′ bed lengths.
