The International Loadstar series was produced during the years of 1962 to 1978. It was considered a medium-duty work truck typically used for construction, agriculture, and delivery purposes. Did you know it was also used for fire trucks and school buses? These trucks came as a standard 4×2, but 4×4, 6×4, and 6×6 models were also available, and came with gasoline or diesel engines. The model numbers (1800) indicated the size and weight rating. The 1800 came standard with a MV404 (404 cu.in. 6.6L) V8 with a MV446 as optional. These Loadstar trucks were the most common mid-range trucks around. Fun fact: This truck was used in many movies and TV shows like Starsky and Hutch, The A-Team, and Wonder Woman among many, many others.
