Today’s Classic Car Finds

The Jaguar E-Type was a sports car produced by the British company Jaguar Cars LTD between 1961 and 1974 (dubbed XK-E in North America). It began as either a rear-wheel drive two-seat coupe and a two-seat convertible roadster. The design and manufacturing elements of this car began many industry-wide changes for sports cars. The model lines became known as the Series 1, 2, or 3. The Series 1 cars were divided into two categories: The 1961 to 1964 models with 3.8L engines and the 1965 to 1967 models with an improved 4.2L engine, along with some new amenities. The 1967-68 models were also known as transitional series (Series 1.5) as the new designs moved into the new Series 2 line. Did you know a 1967 Jaguar E-Type was used by the title character in the 2002 movie “Austin Powers in Goldmember”?
