Today’s Classic Car finds 09/07/2023

The Kaiser-Frazer Corporation was founded after World War II in response to demand for new cars after the end of the war. The company was established in 1945 and lasted until 1951 when Joseph Frazer left. The 1948 Standard was part of the more upscale Frazer line.

The styling was rounded with an aerodynamic look and had advanced options for that time as standard. It had a six-cylinder engine paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Independent front suspension and a solid rear axle were also featured.

It experienced moderate sales outside of the “Big Three” during its short life.
