Today’s Classic Truck Finds 4/21/2022

The 1977 Ford F-series pickup was part of the 6th generation of trucks, which was from the years of 1973 to 1979. It is known at the “dentside Ford” to many Ford fans. This generation continued to be built on the 1965 (4th generation) platform but had many modern upgrades. Four models were offered – the F100, F150, F250, and F350 along with trim options of Custom, Ranger, Ranger XLT, and Ranger Lariat (78-79). The F350 was considered a one-ton classification and had GVWR of 6,000 to 10,000 pounds (4×4 was 8,550 pounds). Beginning in 1977, the F-series became the best-selling truck in the U.S. Did you know that a 1977 Ford F350 was used by the main characters in “Breaking Bad” TV show?
