- 1961 Buick Skylark Coupe
- The Skylark is a vehicle produced by Buick over six generations from 1964 to 1998. During the early years of 1953 to 1954 and again from 1961 to 1963, the Skylark name (taken from a small bird) was used as two different models as a luxury trim level. There were many changes in design and engineering over its generational run due to new standards, tastes, and technology. In 1961 the Buick Special Skylark was introduced as a luxury trim level of the Special. The standard engine was a four-barrel 215 cu.in. (3.5L) V8.
