Today’s Classic Truck Finds 11/23/2022

The Task Force series of pickup trucks was produced by Chevrolet from 1955 to 1961. Beginning in 1958, the light-duty trucks were given the Apache name. There was a redesign of the front end, and the new all-steel beds were called “Fleetside”. The standard engine was the 283 cu.in. V8. New features for the Task Force series were power steering, power brakes, and the industry’s first wraparound windshield as well as some others. Factory installed air conditioning was offered beginning in 1958.
