Today’s Classic Car Finds 05/09/2023

The Charger has been produced by Dodge beginning in 1966 and lasts to the present currently across seven generations. The nameplate has been used on various styles of vehicles from small hatchbacks, sedans, muscle cars, and high-end coupes. It was developed to compete in the upscale market segment that contained the Toronado and Thunderbird. The 1967 is part of the first generation (1966 – 1967). This generation was designed as a two-door fastback. The base engine was a 5.2L V8 paired with a three-speed manual. An automatic transmission along with a few more power engines were available as an option. There were 15,788 units produced for 1967. Did you know a 1967 Charger is extensively used in the Elvis Presley movie “Speedway”?
