The 1969 Ford F-series pickup was part of the 5th generation of trucks, which was from the years of 1967 to 1972. There were not many changes from the 4th generation except for being larger, having more engine options, and more comfortable interiors. Three models were offered – the F100, F250, and F350 along with new trim options. The new Ranger XLT trim was the high end followed by Ranger, Sport Custom, and Custom. These trucks had the best equipment offered at the time. The F250 was considered a 3/4 ton and had GVWR of 8100 or 8200 max. It also came in 6.5′ and 8′ bed lengths and had an optional crew cab and 4-door on the F250 and F350.
