Today’s Classic Car Finds 01/09/2023

The Commander was produced by Studebaker Corporation beginning in 1927 and lasting through 1966 across six generations. The 1957 model was part of the fifth generation and was the nameplate for the mid-range Studebaker offering. Two trim levels were available: the Custom and the Deluxe, with the Deluxe having bright metal moldings and full-length body trim. The engines offered were the 3.0L inline six or the 4.2L OHV V8. This generation is the most popular of the Studebakers for collectors.
