The Ford C series trucks came in a wide range of versions from Class 5 to Class 8 GVW (gross vehicle weight) ratings. Production years were generally from 1957 through 1990 and was the longest produced commercial truck in North America when its production time ended. The C series was also used often for fire trucks. There were five different engine offerings along with three transmission choices. These trucks were such a hardworking mainstay everywhere that you will more than likely still see them in use today.
