The F-series pickup trucks from Ford began in 1948 with the 1967 being part of the 5th generation of trucks, which was from the years of 1967 to 1972. There were not many changes from the 4th generation except for being larger, having more engine options, and more comfortable interiors. Beginning in 1967, the medium-duty trucks, which include the F-650 and F-750, kept the cab and hood of the light-duty trucks and changed the axle and fenders to accomdodate a wider body. The medium-duty F-series has been used for many applications like freight services, towing, beverage distribution, construction, utility, propane delivery, wreckers, wastecollection, and many other needs. Did you know a 1971 F-750 was in a chase scene in “The Bionic Woman” TV series?
